These hand painted limited editions were only available to employees at the end of production and were never made available to the public, except on the secondary market. Most of these editions are very small, ranging from 53 to 330 pieces. Disney artist have recreated the artwork, using traditional animation techniques. The original animation drawings were transfer to acetate cels by a special six-step xerographic process. The cels were enhanced with hand-inked lines, then artists of the Wald Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department hand painted each of the cels, with Disney-approved acrylic colors.
The Background scene for the cels have been faithfully reproduced from the original production background.
